The Purpose of this Job

As an integral part of the Sales team within this established UK Technology business, as Business Development Executive you’ll be working closely with the wider sales and marketing function to create new opportunities for the business. You’ll aid the overall lead generation strategy through appointment setting, progressing interest from targeted accounts and following up on potential leads.

As Business Development Executive your responsibilities will be:

  • Progress automated qualified ;leads from the marketing team in your assigned market.
  • Be proactive in managing your own pipeline of leads and accounts.
  • Identifying opportunities for the company’s suite of solutions to progress and pass over to the relevant sales teams.
  • Achieve and exceed your own individual targets with KPI’s.
  • Employ Sales Navigator licenses to send InMail’s, Smart links and use other tools within the platform.
  • Utilise the data enrichment platform to enhance the data set you are working from and maintain the data points in the CRM.

As Business Development Executive you’ll have:

  • Experience within a similar sales role is essential.
  • Understanding of B2B SaaS and technology markets would be desirable but not essential.
  • Ability to work independently and manage your time effectively.
  • Ability to build relationships. You’ll have excellent listening and questioning skills
  • Experience using LinkedIn as a prospecting tool would be ideal
