We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Production Coordinator to join a fast paced team in the Poole area.  This role involves supporting the Production Controller with a variety of administrative and operational tasks. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, proficiency in IT, and the ability to assist with both customer relations and production activities.

Responsibilities of a Production Coordinator:

  • Handle incoming customer calls, addressing inquiries with a professional and courteous manner
  • Provide customers with accurate information regarding order status, expected completion dates, and collection times
  • Manage incoming emails by replying as necessary or forwarding them to the appropriate staff member
  • Use Excel, Word, and potentially an ERP system to maintain and update order records and documentation
  • Assist with goods inwards by ensuring that customer orders are received, docketed, and prepared for planning

Experience of a Production Coordinator:

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (though not essential)
  • Previous experience in a customer service role.
  • Excellent telephone manner and written communication skills
