As the HR Administrator you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the company’s HR function, whilst providing support to the managers and wider business.

HR Administrator Responsibilities

  • Provide support to the managers in day-to-day HR activities.
  • Support recruitment campaigns and arrange onboarding for new starters.
  • Handle absencelateness, and appraisal reviews.
  • Assist with disciplinarycapability, and grievance processes.
  • Address staff enquiries and provide flexible administrative support.
  • Administer monthly payroll and manage the company pension scheme.

HR Administrator Skills & Experience Required

  • Generalist HR experience and basic understanding of employment law, (CIPS preferred).
  • Demonstrated experience in payroll systems and Microsoft Office (SAGE 50 would be desirable).
  • Excellent attention to detail and handling of sensitive information.
  • Logical approach, good time management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team.

Machinist – Crewkerne- £competitive

Purpose

Our client, an established business operating on the South Coast are recruiting to support their continued growth. After a period of growth, our client is looking to bolster the team with the machining department.

The machine and equipment our client have in situ are unique to their industry. With this is mind we’re looking for individuals that have prior experience working on CNC machines of any type and we’ll train the successful candidate in the operation of.

The opportunity for growth is substantial, it’s a small close-knit team and this position will become a corner stone within the business.

About the role

As a Machinist, you will:

  • Load and run a CNC Machine
  • Fitting the right tools to active machines
  • Performing set-up and calibration procedures for all equipment and accessories
  • Setting tolerance levels and cutting speeds
  • Inspect and monitor the components being produced to ensure quality standards are being met
  • Movement of stock around the production area
  • Ensure that the working area is always kept clean and tidy
  • Complete relevant paperwork and update the computer system as required
  • Be keen to learn

All applicants MUST:

  • Have some workshop experience, ideally having worked as a Machinist (including setting)
  • Be confident supporting a variety of Machines
  • Be looking to learn and develop their skills
