Production Manager, Crewkerne, £45,000
Rubicon’s Specialist Sectors Division has been instructed by a thriving, family-owned, manufacturing business to recruit a Production Manager as the company embarks on an exciting, transitional time of growth.
This is a newly created role that reports directly into the Manufacturing Manager, alternating over two shift patterns, (6am – 2pm and 2pm – 10pm, with an early finish on Fridays).

Production Manager Responsibilities
- Meet daily production targets and audit performance.
- Deploy people and equipment resource to ensure cost effective, safe, and efficient operations.
- Identify opportunities for improvement and the elimination of waste.
- Develop the by performance measurement including regular 121s and performance reviews.
- Oversee training and coaching plans for the staff.
Production Manager Skills & Experience Required
- Experience within a similar people management role.
- Experience within manufacturing or production.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Awareness of health and safety work practices.
- Flexible and adaptable approach.
