Overview
As a CNC Lead Turner, you will join a team of time-served engineers to programme, set and operate turning machines to manufacture a wide variation of components. This position would suit an individual that has a comprehensive understanding of machining that is possibly looking for the next step in their career.
As a CNC Lead Turner you’ll benefit from:

Responsibilities
As a CNC Lead Turner, your responsibilities will include:
- Programming, setting and operating CNC Turner
- Setting up the tooling and fixturing ensuring you are selecting suitable tools.
- Working from technical drawings and specifications to fine tolerances
- Machining small bathes to high precision
- Liaising with supervisors and other departments
- Basic inspection of the completed parts
- Possible minor maintenance of the machines
Background
The successful candidate for this CNC Lead Turner role MUST have:
- Previous experience programming, setting and operating CNC Turner
- Understanding of technical drawings and be able to interpret safety instructions, specifications, and manuals.
- High attention to detail
- Good communication skills and ability to work as a team.
- Residence within sensible distance to our customers’ site
- Consistent work history and employers we can obtain references from
