Woodshop Joiner Poole £28,750  per annum

Hours: Mon – Thurs 13.30 – 23.50

Are you a skilled and experienced workshop Joiner looking for your next challenge? or have experience in paint spraying or similar roles.Rubicon People Partnership’s client are currently recruiting for a talented individual to join their team working within the spraying workshop.

Main Tasks

• Being a Woodshop Joiner of the UK Production Team, helping to deliver quality product within target.

• Preparing parts sub-assemblies & assembling speaker cabinets. Inspection and testing of products, packaging of the finished items.

• Offer ideas to improve performance and throughput.

• Mechanically minded, experience with assembly of both small and large products

• Ability to interpret technical drawings.

• Experience with hand and power tools, etc.

• Operate within a framework of procedures and specific targets in pursuit of overall workshop Joiner department goals and objectives as defined by the Operations Manager

• Work in a flexible and cooperative manner across all functions, always recognising that you represent the Company when on premises.

• Work with minimum supervision and have a positive and proactive can-do attitude.

• Maintaining a keen eye for detail and a high level of quality and working practices, adhering to applicable company procedures in particular Health & Safety.

Experience

• Experience of working in an assembly woodshop environment
• Experience of lifting using manual handling techniques and lifting equipment.

Training

Specific training will be provided.
