Inspector – Bournemouth & Poole – Up to £17ph

Rubicon People Partnership are currently working with several reputable, local engineering businesses, looking to recruit for a number of Inspectors with any level of skill.

The employers we’re supporting are all based within Bournemouth and Poole and are offering a range of shifts and rates of pay. Sectors include Defence, Aerospace, Marine and Oil to name a few.

Owing to the variety of positions on offer, we’d be keen to hear from Inspectors of all levels of skill from entry level through to time-served Inspectors.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities for our Inspector roles may include:

  • Perform First Article Inspection by inspecting components and completing documentation / reports
  • Mechanical and electrical inspection of components using manual and computed aided inspection equipment
  • Ensuring components are in line with the correct specifications
  • Assist in drafting inspection procedures and troubleshoot testing methods
  • Apply approval or rejection labels to raw materials
  • Identify non-compliance issues and resolve them
  • Adhere to company QMS procedures and proactively identify errors and opportunities for improvement

Background

The successful candidate for our Inspector roles MUST have:

  • Previous experience working within an inspection role – whether entry level or time-served
  • Understanding of technical drawings and be able to interpret safety instructions, specifications, and manuals
  • High attention to detail
  • Good communication skills and ability to work as a team
  • Residence within sensible distance to our customers’ sites as relocation will not be considered
  • Consistent work history and employers we can obtain references from
