Purpose

As a HGV Driver, you will play a key role in the distribution department, driving the Class 2 vehicle and delivering to sites across the South and West coast. You will be working as part of a successful and well-established business in the local area.

Responsibilities

As a HGV Driver, your responsibilities will include:

• Driving Class 2 heavy goods vehicle
• Driving the Company vehicle (full, clean licence essential)
• Liaise with customers on deliveries
• Flexibility to carry out a variety of duties
• Unloading and loading of the vehicles
• Participate in on-the-job training to develop essential skills.

For this role, you must have a valid, in-date HGV Class 2 license as you will be supporting in the warehouse as well as doing the driving work.

Background

As a successful HGV Driver, you’ll have:

• An in date, accredited HGV Class 2 license
• Previous HGV driving experience
• The capacity to conduct heavy lifting work.
