Are you looking for a role that offers variety daily and that will test your skills hourly? Do have carpentry experience or experience assembling high value products? Our client is looking for several Assemblers to assist in crafting high value products for our client working within the Aviation industry.
Your New Employer
Following a significant upturn in orders, our client is looking to ‘gear’ things up a notch and to increase the size of the workshop team. The existing team work exceptionally well as a unit, collectively bringing a range of very specialist skills.
The workshop itself is well equipped with investment in recent years and houses every tool and piece of equipment an Assembly Operative could wish for. There are plans to extend the site further in the coming years to accommodate the expected growth.

The Role
As an Assembly Operative, your role will include:
- Cutting, bonding, and shaping composite materials to precise specifications
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints with meticulous attention to detail
- Operating a variety of machinery and tools to achieve high-quality results
- Collaborating closely with a diverse team to meet production goals and maintain safety standards
- A comprehensive training programme ensuring you’re aware of the basics
About You
For this Assembly Operative position, you must have some of the following:
- Experience working with wood or composites
- Previous experience working as a carpenter or bench joiner
- Ability to read technical diagrams
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
- The willingness to work overtime
