Press Brake Operative, Poole, £18 per hour

Role Overview:

As a Press Brake Operative, you’ll play a key role in fabricating high-quality metal components.

The products range from steel base frames, complex components, and structures, manufactured to meet the requirements of highly regulated industry. Key Duties as a Press Brake Operative:

  • Operating press brake machines to form metal components
  • Reading and interpreting technical drawings to ensure precise fabrication
  • Setting up machines, adjusting parameters, and performing basic programming
  • Inspecting finished products for accuracy and quality
  • Manual handling and loading metal sheets into machines
  • Maintaining a clean and safe working environment

Your Press Brake Operative experience will include:

  • Proven experience operating Press Brake machinery in a manufacturing setting
  • Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and technical specifications
  • Experience with machine setups and adjustments
  • Strong attention to detail and quality control
  • Knowledge of health and safety practices in a workshop environment
