Prepper | Cambridge | £15.50ph DOE

Are you currently working in an industry that doesn’t reward you for your hard work? As a Prepper, you’ll join a globally recognised leader in manufacturing, where your engineering expertise and commitment to quality will help uphold the highest standards in the industry.

As a Prepper, you’ll benefit from:

Career stability in a market-leading company: join a business that’s experiencing exceptional growth and has an outstanding reputation for delivering top-quality products.

Other Benefits include:

  • 25 days holiday + bank holidays
  • Competitive overtime (X1.5 & X2)
  • Weekly pay for consistent income
  • State of the art shopfloor designed for efficiency and precision
  • Supportive, friendly work environment conducive to professional growth

As a Prepper, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Sanding, cleaning, and prepping various surfaces of aircraft interior components to ensure they are ready for painting, coating, or assembly.
  • Inspecting surfaces to identify and address any imperfections, such as dust, debris, or surface irregularities.
  • Applying tapes, films, and other masking materials to the panels that need to be protected from paint, coatings, or other surface treatments. This ensures that only the intended areas are exposed during the finishing process.
  • Working closely with other team members, such as painters, assemblers, and quality control inspectors, to ensure a smooth production process and high-quality output.

As the successful Prepper, you’ll have:

  • Experience in sanding, cleaning, and preparing surfaces, particularly in industries like automotive, aerospace, or manufacturing, where precision and attention to detail are critical.
  • Familiarity with polishing techniques, including the use of hand tools and power tools, to achieve smooth and defect-free surfaces.
  • Previous experience in inspecting and ensuring that surfaces meet quality standards before moving on to the next stage of production.
