Purpose
As a CNC Turner within a well-established company in the Engineering and Manufacturing sector, you’ll play a vital role of supporting the business within the machine shop.
Responsibilities
As a CNC Turner, your responsibilities will include:
- Programming, setting and operating lathes
- Working with various quantities from one offs to batches of several hundred
- Interpreting technical drawings and working to high tolerances
- Completing paperwork to ISO9001 & AS9100 standards
- Using precision measuring equipment
As a CNC Turner, you’ll have:
- Previous experience programming, setting and operating lathes
- Experience in cutting a range of materials including aluminium and stainless steel
- The ability to work from technical drawings and work to high tolerances
- A flexible and self-motivated attitude to support the business
