Cable Layer / Ground Worker – £650 per week

Overview

An ideal position for individuals with prior experience working in the great outdoors, with a ‘can do’ attitude who are looking for a new challenge and change of scenery.

This role will be out in the elements, come rain or shine, assisting in the operation of heavy-duty equipment that is used to connect rural locations to the internet. Owing to the nature of the role, each day is different, with fresh challenges, changing locations, and the constant need to think on the spot to ensure the job gets done.

Getting your steps in will never again be an issue. You’ll spend your days in the great outdoors, covering some miles, ensuring that the equipment is running smoothly with the support of your team.

Overview:

We’re looking for a team of hard working & reliable individuals for a contract based around Taunton. Several Production Operatives are required and NO prior experience necessary.

Our client is a food manufacturer looking to expand and build their existing teams, adding capacity across the business. This family run business has a reputation for recognising and appreciating hard work.

The Job:

Main duties and responsibilities of a Production Operative:

  • Assisting as required within a food production environment.
  • Maintaining exceptionally high standard of cleanliness.
  • Wearing the required PPE as require.
  • Deep cleans of production machinery and equipment.
  • Assisting in training other members of staff.
  • Follow the Company’s Health and Safety Procedures.
  • Follow all Quality Control guidelines set by the Company
  • Loading/unloading production lines
  • Operating machinery involved in the preparation of meals.

These Production Operative positions are temporary to permanent position, working Monday to Friday 2pm-10pm.

The Requirements:

These Production Operative roles doesn’t require any formal qualifications or experience.

The bits you do need though include:

  • Reliability – it’s a small team and each person counts!
  • Your own transport (owing to working hours)
  • Flexibility – plans can change… some degree of flexibility (possible overtime)

The business employee several different nationalities. Although a command of the English language is desirable it is NOT essential.
