Purpose

As a Fabricator, you will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and installing sheet metal components and structures. Working from detailed engineering drawings, you will use your technical skills to cut, shape, and weld a variety of metals, including stainless steel, aluminium, and mild steel, to create high-quality components.

Fabrication experience is essential for this role; however our client will consider different levels of experience.

Key Duties as a Fabricator:

  • Reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications
  • Cutting, shaping, and fabricating metal components to required specifications
  • Using hand and power tools, including grinders, shears, and plasma cutters
  • Operating machinery such as press brakes, CNC machines, and welding equipment
  • Performing MIG/TIG welding and spot welding as required
  • Inspecting completed work to ensure it meets quality standards
  • Collaborating with team members and supervisors to ensure projects are completed on time
  • Maintaining a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations

Your Experience as a Fabricator will Include:
