Trainee Machine Operator | Blandford Forum | £27500per annum

We are recruiting for an entry level / trainee machine operator to join a company based in Blandford.   If you enjoy working in a methodical / process driven role then this could be a great opportunity for you! The most important attribute is the ability to show a dedicated attitude and a hunger to learn.

As a trainee machine operator, you’ll become an integral part of the production process. Being trained in the use of operating and maintaining machines, as well as setting up the machines.

Hours:
Day shifts 8am – 5pm Monday to Thursday &  8am -12pm Friday

Night shifts  6.30pm – 6.30am Monday to Wednesday & 6.30pm – 10.30pm Thursday

As Trainee Machine Operator, you’ll benefit from:

What we’re looking for from applicants include:

• Good numerical skills
• Basic understanding of an engineering environment
• Prior experience in the use of hand tools (even if as a hobby)
• Potentially some manufacturing experience
