QSHE Manager, Poole, £50,000

The Purpose

As the QSHE Manager you will lead on our client’s commitment to develop, implement and maintain the QSHE standards across the business.

Reporting directly into the COO you will be pivotal in developing, maintaining and improving the Integrated Management System, as well as implementing, auditing and updating all documentation in relation to ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.

This role would suit someone who is currently at Advisor level and is looking to take that next step up into management.

As QSHE Manager your responsibilities include:

  • Developing, maintaining, and improving the Integrated Management System to ensure compliance with QSHE standards and legislation
  • Overseeing risk management, including maintaining risk and legal registers, and escalate issues as necessary
  • Supporting staff training and development to ensure understanding of QSHE standards and their relevance to business objectives
  • Implementing, monitoring, and auditing QSHE performance, including emergency management and business continuity plans, and ensure compliance with ISO standards (9001, 14001, 45001).
  • Providing guidance, support, and coaching to all personnel on company policies and procedures, and complete assigned tasks and projects as required

As QSHE Manager your Skills and Experience will include:

  • Auditors Qualification (ISO 9001/14001/18001)
  • NEBOSH / IEMA preferred but not essential
  • Good communication skills and the ability to liaise with multiple stakeholders
  • Natural ability to problem solve and work well under pressure
  • Strong organisation skills
