Goods-In Inspector, Hampshire, Up to £27,200 per annum


The successful applicant will be joining an established Hampshire based business on the cusp of significant growth. Supporting the quality team in the inspection and testing of bespoke sensor equipment within the automotive and defence industries.

As a Goods-In Inspector, your responsibilities will include:

  • Inspecting, testing and measuring materials confirming drawings requirements and specifications
  • Efficiently producing reject notes to process returns
  • Providing any feedback to the quality team enabling accurate KPI reporting
  • Conducting inspection of any returns


As a Goods-In Inspector, you’ll ideally tick some of the boxes below:

  • A mechanical focused qualification.
  • Machining experience.
  • Mechanical workshop skills e.g. drilling, grinding.
  • Use of power tools.
  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
  • Understanding of how industrial systems work.
  • Basic welding experience.
  • Previously use of a forklift.
  • High organisational skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to obtain a vetted security clearance/DBS checks
