Welcome to BOFA International. In order to ensure a safe working environment for all Employees, Contractors and visitors, please take a moment to familiarise yourself with the following points.
1.     SITE ADDRESS:

2.     PARKING – Agency staff are only permitted to use Unit 3 car park and only if sufficient spaces are available, alternative parking can be found on nearby roads
3.     ARRIVAL AT SITE. Report to Department Head
4.     INJURIES.  All accidents MUST be reported to a Supervisor and entered into the Accident book before leaving the premises. First Aid, transport to Hospital or co-ordinating emergency services must be done by a member of staff. First aid kits are located in every building and Temporary Employees are requested to familiarise themselves with the location of the 1st aid kit and the first aider within the building that they are working.
5.     EMERGENCY PROCEDURES. In the event of an emergency all persons on site are to muster at the Assembly Point for the site. All emergency services requests are to be notified to a member of staff. They are to be met at the relevant building Entrance and then be directed to the site of the incident. The primary muster point is in the car park of the main office at 21 -22 Balena Close. If this location is considered unsafe, a secondary muster point is located outside of the DEK Building.
6.     NEAREST HOSPITAL – Poole General Hospital, Longfleet Rd, Poole BH15 2JB
7.     ENVIRONMENTAL INCIDENTS. (Process Chemicals, Fuels, Oils etc). Contact a member of the site Management team who shall co-ordinate the situation. All incidents must be reported promptly and decontamination efforts employed immediately
8.     PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT. All locations apart from the offices require Hi-visibility clothing and Safety Boots. Ear Defenders, Goggles, Face Masks etc. must be worn where designated or when instructed. Upper arms and legs must be covered at all times.
9.     MOBILE PLANT. All mobile plant operators must hold a current competence certificate. All drivers must comply with statutory regulations.
10.  COSHH assessment. Where there is a requirement to handle a hazardous substance, a suitable and sufficient COSHH assessment MUST be undertaken.
11.  WASTE DISPOSAL. We aim to recycle whenever possible. Please ensure that all waste is put in the correct bins.
12.  RISK ASSESSMENT. A suitable and sufficient Risk Assessment must be Produced, Referred to and completed, prior to any work commencing.
13.  WELFARE ARRANGEMENTS. Whilst on site you are welcome to make full use of the facilities provided, but must remember to leave them as found.
14.   ASBESTOS. All buildings within BOFA have asbestos present. These are all in a safe condition and its whereabouts are recorded and assessed annually. Do not disturb any building fabrics until approval has been given by the H&S Manager.Â
