Luca - Electrical Assembler

“After applying online for a number of jobs and getting little response back, Rubicon made contact quickly and took the time to understand what I was looking for and identified a suitable job based on my previous experience within car mechanics and electronics… Each step was quick, easy and I didn’t get messed around.  The process was spot on with the team supporting me step by step through the interview process.”

After returning to the UK from Australia, Luca applied online through Indeed for a number of jobs locally but received little response, with Rubicon being the only Recruitment Consultancy to make contact.  He worked at Waitrose on a temporary contract but contact from Waitrose dwindled shortly after starting, leaving Luca in a position to find work again.

Once Luca applied to one of Rubicon’s Engineering adverts online, Recruitment Coordinator, Scott Rutter, made quick contact to discuss his previous experience and thoroughly understand Luca’s future ambitions and requirements for work.  With previous experience in car mechanics and electronics, Scott identified an ideal position close to Luca’s home address that would utilise his skills and enable him to further progress and develop within electronics.

With an interview on the cards, Luca received ongoing support from the Engineering team including a preparation call prior to the interview with clear directions on where to go (removing this common pre-interview stress) and a call following the interview to gain Luca’s feedback before liaising with the client.

Fast forward three-months and Luca has fully settled into his new Electrical Assembler role, after being successful at interview stage, and still receives ongoing contact from Scott to see how he’s getting on: “Each step was quick, easy and I didn’t get messed around.  I love the job, it’s exactly as Scott explained and in a good location close to home and the whole process was really easy and streamlined.  If I knew anyone looking for work, family or friend, I’d recommend Rubicon…in fact I’ve already recommended my cousin!”
