This months’ HR Forum will focus on a general Employment Law Update and will take place at Parkstone Yacht Club on Wednesday 13th March from 10:30am – 1pm.
Employment law is constantly evolving, and it’s important for businesses, and HR professionals, to stay up to date with any changes to ensure compliance and avoid potential legal issues.
Kate will provide an update in relation to:

- Recent case studies showcasing practical impacts of legal changes
- Specific scenarios, opening the floor to discussions, enabling you to engage in conversation with legal experts

Kate Brooks is a ‘Recommended Lawyer’ by The Legal 500 and is a Partner at Ellis Jones. Kate specialises in Employment Law and HR Advice. Kate acts for many local businesses and her work includes: defending Employment Tribunal claims; negotiating termination deals; preparing/reviewing/amending employment documentation; advising on employment status; data protection; how to change terms and conditions of employment; restrictions after the end of employment; HR consultancy service; HR training, and preparing & negotiating settlement agreements.
Jess Comolly-Jones is Rubicon Recruitment’s Director of Office Division and Senior Appointments. A recruitment specialist with over 17 years experience in the industry, Jess regularly works with clients, closely with HR Professionals/Hiring Managers and Senior Management, across a range of sectors – including aerospace, technology, distribution and manufacturing/product.
