Test & Acceptance Engineer, Wool, £50,000

The purpose of this role:

As a Test & Acceptance Engineer, you’ll play an integral role in the testing of newly developed systems and a core product range, implementing procedures in order to carry out environmental testing such as stress, vibration and temperature, as well as undertaking commissioning of finished systems to ensure structural and operational integrity.

As Test & Acceptance Engineer, you will:

  • Lead project test phases & events.
  • Create and develop test procedures, plans, and schedules for design testing.
  • Prepare test activities in line with timescale and budget considerations.
  • Conduct testing in line with necessary standards and requirements.
  • Support integration and ‘Set To Work’ of the project.
  • Analyse test evidence and evaluate test data.
  • Write reports and associated test documentation.

The successful Test & Acceptance Engineer will have:

  • Experience in electronic / mechanical and/or acoustic testing.
  • Understanding of Engineering lifecycles and processes.
  • Knowledge of writing technical reports & documentation.
  • Familiarity with manual and automated testing.
