Quality Manager, Sturminster Newton, £55,000pa
Purpose
As a Quality Manager, you will lead the quality department, overseeing continuous improvement, quality assurance and health and safety processes.
Rubicon Recruitment’s client is a well-established precision engineering business known for delivering high quality, precision components to a range of industries.
Responsibilities
As a Quality Manager, you will:
- Oversee the implementation continuous improvement techniques and processes within the quality and inspection functions.
- Manage the internal audit program, producing reports and establishing improvement actions.
- Deliver training on quality and health and safety programs.
- Manage customer and internal NCRs
- Develop and support quality improvement plans, championing a ‘zero defect’ culture.
- Update and control documentation, policies and procedures relating to engineering and quality functions.
- Lead and facilitate the HSE reviews ensuring robust corrective actions are implemented to improve future position.
- Monitor and audit the initial risk assessment process and ensure all areas always maintain up to date risk assessments.
Background
The successful Quality Manager will have:
- Experience of ISO9001 & ASO9100 environments.
- Demonstrable experience within a Quality Management role
- Understanding of high industry regulatory and quality requirements
- Excellent organisation skills
- Effective time management
- Confident decision-making ability
