Quality Engineer, Edenbridge, £50,000

As the Quality Engineer for this pioneering electronics manufacturer, you will be joining a talented team committed to pushing the boundaries of innovation and development in electronic technology.

As the company launches into their next chapter of expansion, you’ll play an integral part within a state-of-the-art new business unit with a strong focus on growth in the Aerospace industry, actively developing the business management system in a collaborative and exciting environment.

Quality Engineer Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the development of quality management system maintenance.
  • Assist in technical reviews and prepare APQP, and FAIR/LAIR reports.
  • Manage the MRB system and Quality database inputs and responses.
  • Liaise with Customers and Suppliers and participate in meetings.
  • Promote continuous improvement and performance improvement.

Quality Engineer Skills & Experience Required

  • Strong quality and continuous improvement background.
  • Experience in an assembly operations facility, preferably electrical/electronic.
  • Working knowledge of Aerospace Standards (ISO 9001, AS9100, AS13100).
  • Practical working knowledge of IPC-A-600/IPC-A-610 and J-Std-001.
  • Continuous improvement and 5S mindset.
