Manual Miller, £15ph | Overtime £22.50ph | Poole

Purpose

As a manual miller you’ll be responsible for the machining of metal components. This is an essential part of the engineering process and you’ll be responsible for producing the highest standard of work with this business operating within the aerospace and defence sector.

They have been operating for almost 30 years and work on various special projects. As manual miller you’ll benefit from:

  • Working day shifts Monday – Friday with an early 12:30 finish on Friday

Responsibilities

As a manual miller, some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Operating manual mills using a ProTRAK control system
  • Setting the machines up and changing tooling
  • Ensuring the machine is producing components to the required standard
  • Working from drawings and job specifications on each job
  • Inspection of finished components

Background

As a successful manual miller you’ll:

  • Have previous experience working with manual mills
  • Be committed, motivated, enthusiastic, and reliable
  • Live locally or have own transport within reasonable commutable distance
