Head of Client Development, executive level package including competitive bonus & car allowance, Flexible working

Purpose of role:

This hugely successful, award winning IT solutions company focus on exceptional customer service and invest heavily in their people.

As a key member of the Senior Management Team, the Head of Client Development will engage with prospective customers, by seeking to understand their needs, pain and challenges, and work with the technical sales team to present a compelling solution that will enhance and support the growth of their business through the use of technology.

Acting as an ambassador externally and a key influencer internally, you will deliver winning business development plans, activity, and engagement.

Opportunity:

The Head of Client Development role has potential to develop from an executive senior management position to board level for the right individual who has the ambition and drive to succeed.

Responsibilities:

  • Define and implement New Business/Client Acquisition strategy across the business
  • Own Marketing across the business, with line management responsibility
  • Develop new relationships and build on existing relationships using all tools available, such as, calls, webinars, networking events, meetings
  • Host and attend events, representing the business as an ambassador and face of the company
  • Develop a partnership referral network

Knowledge & skills:

  • Solid B2B Business Development, Sales, Customer Acquisition or Senior Business Executive Level background.
  • Previously built key relationships at Board level and be confident at developing relationships
  • Commercially astute, with an excellent understanding of business processes, exposure to board-level discussions and decision-making
  • Well-presented and have a genuine passion for meeting new people.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation and influencing skills
  • Self-motivated, with a strong desire to succeed
  • Able to empathise, understanding businesses needs and pain points
  • Interest in IT and systems to drive business growth
  • Have a driving licence with access to a vehicle
