Field Service Engineer, Slough, £45,000pa + benefits

Purpose

As a Field Service Engineer you’ll be instrumental in the commissioning and servicing of HVAC systems for this market leading global company. Acting as the face of the company, you’ll deliver outstanding customer service and ensure their trusted systems remain reliable. This position will mainly cover the central London area, however will require travel to other areas of the UK.

To be considered for the position you must hold a  full UK Drivers Licence and current CSCS card.

As a Field Service Engineer you will:

  • Be responsible for undertaking service and repair work of Air Conditioning and Ventilation systems on customer sites.
  • Diagnose and repair faults with controls (such as Delta, Trend, Siemens)
  • Complete site reports, risk assessments and associated company documentation, ensuring accurate reporting.
  • Assist with commissioning and installation of new systems
  • Travel to customer sites both as part of planned service schedule and for late-notice, reactive repairs.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service, acting as an ambassador for the company.

The successful Field Service Engineer will:

  • Be experienced working with electro-mechanical systems (particularly HVAC, fan coils, refrigerant systems, heat pumps etc)
  • Have a solid understanding of automation control systems (such as Delta, Trend, Siemens)
  • Be familiar with commercial energy systems including heating, ventilation, air-conditioning.
  • Hold a full UK drivers’ licence and current CSCS card.
