Electro-Mechanical Test Engineer, Poole, £35,000


As an Electro-Mechanical Test Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out final product testing, using both manual and automated test equipment, as well as the maintenance of internal test records and documentation.

As an Electro-Mechanical Test Engineer, you will:

  • Conduct electrical and mechanical testing of products in line with established test procedures ensuring statutory, regulatory and customer obligations are satisfied.
  • Utilise new and existing technologies to provide data driven test results.
  • Produce concise reports and publish findings with recommendations and corrective actions where appropriate.
  • Ensure correct use of company test request documentation.
  • Adapt and create new test procedures.
  • Attend regular Engineering meetings to present status reports on current test activities including open issues, recommendations and constraints when required.
  • Assist in the preparation of department key performance indicators (KPI’s).


The successful Electro-Mechanical Test Engineer will:

  • Be experienced working within a manufacturing / production environment.
  • Familiar with assembly against technical documentation.
  • Have prior experience within electronic and/or mechanical test role.
  • Be familiar with test documentation and non-conformance procedures.
