Overview

As a CNC Turner, you will join a team of time-served engineers to programme, set and operate turning machines to manufacture a wide variation of components. This position would suit an individual that has a comprehensive understanding of machining that is possibly looking for the next step in their career.

As a CNC Turner you’ll benefit from:

Responsibilities

As a CNC Turner, your responsibilities will include:

• Programming, setting and operating CNC Turner
• Setting up the tooling and fixturing ensuring you are selecting suitable tools
• Working from technical drawings and specifications to fine tolerances
• Machining small bathes to high precision
• Liaising with supervisors and other departments
• Basic inspection of the completed parts
• Possible minor maintenance of the machines

Background

The successful candidate for this CNC Turner role MUST have:

• Previous experience programming, setting and operating CNC Turner
• Understanding of technical drawings and be able to interpret safety instructions, specifications, and manuals
• High attention to detail
• Good communication skills and ability to work as a team
• Residence within sensible distance to our customers’ site
• Consistent work history and employers we can obtain references from
