CNC Miller, Dorchester £32,000 per annum

Rubicon is recruiting for two CNC Miller positions, one position that is solely machine, and a second position that is 50% machine & 50% mechanical fitting.

The machines run on Heidenheim and SMX programs.

Hours: 37 hours Monday – Thursday

As CNC Miller your duties will include:

• Preparing and operating 3 Axis CNC Miller machines.
• Operating manual machines such as Mills + Lathes.
• Understanding specifications and the desired result by reading blueprints, mechanical drawings etc.
• Translating instructions into computer commands on CNC Miller machines
• Supervising and making adjustments to the machines while they execute the tasks
• Inspecting and measuring finished products
• Check and maintain machinery daily to ensure functionality.
