Purpose

As a Stores Operative, working within an established and successful engineering business, you’ll be a permanent member of the team working within the despatch function of the  business.

As Warehouse / Stores Operative your hours will be:

Monday to Thursday – 7.30am – 4.30pm and Friday 07:30am-12.30pm

Responsibilities

As a Stores Operative your responsibilities will include:

  • Wrapping and packing products for customer orders
  • Local delivery driving
  • Booking in delivery notes and producing despatch notes
  • Loading and unloading goods
  • Visually checking goods in and out
  • Stock taking and maintaining stock accuracy
  • Occasional small assembly work

As a Stores Operative, you’ll have:

  • Experience working within a despatch function
  • Good computer skills (Microsoft Excel, Word, etc).
